Deleting Your Account
If you decide you no longer need your Lookify account, you can delete it permanently. This guide explains what happens when you delete your account and how to do it.
Warning
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, all your saved searches and lookups will be completely inaccessible. Please make sure you retain any information you need before proceeding.
If you only want to cancel your subscription, you can cancel your subscription and still retain access to your account and data.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Before you delete your account, it's important to understand the following:
- Active subscriptions are cancelled immediately. Any paid subscription associated with your account will be cancelled effective immediately. You will lose access to all paid features. If you only want to cancel your subscription but keep your account, see our billing & payments guide.
- You'll need to create a new account to use the service again. Once your account is deleted, you cannot reactivate it. If you want to use Lookify in the future, you'll need to sign up for a new account.
- All your search history will be permanently deleted. Your account searches and lookup history will not be obtainable or recoverable. This data cannot be accessed by our support team or restored.
- We cannot retrieve information associated with your deleted account. Our support team will not be able to help you recover data or information from your deleted account. This action cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to delete your Lookify account:
- Log in to your Lookify account
- Navigate to your Account page
- Scroll down to the "Account actions" section
- Look for the "Delete account" section
- Click the red "Delete account" button
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion
- Click "Delete" in the confirmation dialog to permanently delete your account

It's important to understand the difference between deleting your account and requesting deletion of your data from Lookify's search database:
Deleting Your Lookify Account
Removes your Lookify user account, subscriptions, and API keys. This is what we've described above. It does not remove your personal information from Lookify's phone number database.
Opt-Out / Data Deletion Request
Requests the removal of your personal information (name, address, phone number, etc.) from Lookify's phone number lookup database. This applies regardless of whether you have a Lookify account or not.
Want to Remove Your Personal Data?
If you want to request that your personal information be removed from Lookify's phone number search results, you'll need to submit an opt-out request. This is independent of deleting your Lookify account.
